SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is being adopted across industries to store and publish pure vector graphics as well as composite pages such as database reports and marketing material. There are also applications like WiseMapping and games which are written solely with SVG. Major vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe and Google have all added native support for SVG in selected products.
SVG is an Open Standard which has been developed and enhanced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) since 1999. SVG images can be created and modified with any text editor, but it is often more convenient to create them with drawing programs such as Inkscape. These graphics offers a superior visual experience. Even better, SVG graphics can be searched, indexed animated, fed dynamic data and scripted.
Visual Integrity’s products can be used to effortlessly and accurately transfer content currently stored as PDF, EPS and other formats into well-formed, standard SVG.
